日本の代表的なカスタムナイフメーカーの一人、川村龍市氏のナイフ。
1994年にナイフの制作を始め2002年からプロとして活動、国内はもちろん、海外のナイフショーでも受賞歴があるベテランメーカーです。

「Slow made」を標榜する川村氏は月に4本、年間40～50本ほどしか制作できないとのことですが、丁寧な作品は抜群の出来の良さを感じます。
作品のほとんどが海外で販売される川村氏の貴重なナイフです。

ワーンクリフトラッパーはマルチブレードの原点ともいえる2ブレードモデルをトニーボーズがワーンクリフスタイルにアレンジしたモデルです。
そのTBモデルを川村氏がトリビュートし息を吹き込んだモデルです。
2枚の刃がスリップジョイント機構の絶妙なテンションで開閉するその精密さと、ハンドル、ブレードの仕上げの美しさをご覧ください。

This knife is made by Ryuichi Kawamura, one of Japan's leading custom knife makers.
He began making knives in 1994 and has been active as a professional since 2002. He is an experienced craftsman who has won awards at knife shows both in Japan and abroad.

Mr. Kawamura, who advocates "slow made," makes only four knives a month, or 40 to 50 knives a year, but his carefully crafted knives are of outstanding quality.

The Warncliff Trapper is a two-blade model, which can be said to be the origin of the multi-blade, arranged by Tony Bose in the Warncliff style.
This model is a tribute to that TB model, brought to life by Mr. Kawamura.
See the precision with which the two blades open and close with the exquisite tension of the slip-joint mechanism, and the beauty of the finish on the handle and blades.
